Brittany Ferries has launched a Kids Go Free offer for summer 2026. Children aged 15 and under travel free on eligible ferry crossings to France and Spain when travelling with a full-paying adult.
For families, this is one of the better ferry deals around: pack the car, skip the airport queues, bring the bikes, buckets, scooters, snacks and half the house if you need to, and start the holiday on board instead of in a departure lounge.

Why this offer is worth checking
Family travel can get expensive quickly, especially once you add child fares, luggage, car hire, parking and the usual collection of holiday extras. With this offer, Brittany Ferries removes the child fare for children aged 15 and under, as long as they travel with a full-paying adult.
That makes it especially interesting if you are travelling by car. You can take your own vehicle, avoid airport baggage limits, and bring all the family extras that somehow become essential the moment you have children: scooters, beach toys, car seats, snacks, tablets, favourite cuddly toys and possibly a small supermarket.
The other advantage is the journey itself. On many Brittany Ferries ships, there are play areas, games rooms, cinemas, entertainment and places to eat, so the crossing becomes part of the holiday rather than just a way to get there.
Best routes for families
