Looking for an Irish Ferries discount code? Honest answer first: Irish Ferries hardly ever works with codes. Its savings come from fixed short-break fares, midweek deals for cars, caravans and motorhomes, and cheap foot-passenger day trips. The one genuine code we know of is for Irish football fans (see the FAQ). Below are the Irish Ferries offers that are running right now, checked against the Irish Ferries website.
Irish Ferries offers right now: Britain to Ireland
- Ireland from £154 one way for a car and driver on Tuesday and Wednesday night sailings. See the one-way deal.
- Short breaks from £228 return for a car and driver, Tuesday and Wednesday night sailings. See the short-break deal.
- Motorhomes for the price of a car: no motorhome supplement from Tuesday to Thursday. See the motorhome deal.
- Half price caravans on any Irish Sea sailing from Tuesday to Thursday. See the caravan deal.
- Duty-free day trips from £10 per adult as a foot passenger, until 16 December. See the day-trip deal. Note: since 28 September 2026 you need a valid passport on Holyhead to Dublin and Pembroke to Rosslare. Read what changed.
Irish Ferries offers right now: Dover to Calais
- Short breaks from £95 return for a car and passengers: 2 days from £95, 3 days from £110, 5 days from £147. Travel until 31 December 2026. See the short-break fares.

Irish Ferries offers right now: Ireland to France
- Dublin to Cherbourg short breaks from €465 return for a car, two people and an inside cabin, up to 6 nights in France, travel until 30 November 2026. See the France short break.
- 2027 sailings for a €300 deposit: from 2 February 2027 you can hold a Dublin to Cherbourg or Irish Sea booking with a deposit and pay the rest 60 days before departure. Handy if you want to lock in a cabin for next summer.
Irish Ferries offers can't be combined with each other or with Tesco Clubcard tokens, and all of them are subject to availability.
Other ways to pay less with Irish Ferries
- Sail midweek, sail at night. Almost every Irish Ferries deal is built around Tuesday to Thursday and night sailings. The same crossing on a Friday or Saturday daytime can cost double.
- Irish Ferries Club. The free loyalty programme turns bookings into points and points into credit for your next trip. Worth joining if you cross more than once a year.
- Tesco Clubcard tokens. Irish Ferries accepts Clubcard partner tokens on the Irish Sea, but not in combination with the offers above. Do the sums: on a cheap midweek fare the offer usually wins, on a peak weekend the tokens win.
- Sail Rail. A combined train and ferry ticket from any British station to Dublin is often cheaper than a foot-passenger ticket plus separate train fares.
- Book early for next year. Irish Ferries opens the following season in autumn, and the cheapest cabins on Dublin to Cherbourg go first.

How to use an Irish Ferries promotion code
- Click the offer button on the deal. This opens the Irish Ferries offers page, where the fare is already applied.
- If you do have a code, tick "I have a promotion code" at the first step of the booking and enter it before you search for sailings.
- Choose your route, dates and vehicle. Short-break fares appear as a separate fare type once your return date fits the limit.
- Check that the discounted fare shows in your price summary before you pay.
Irish Ferries in short
Irish Ferries is the Irish operator on the Irish Sea and, since 2021, the third operator on Dover to Calais. For UK travellers the routes that matter are:
- Holyhead to Dublin: the main route to Dublin, with the Ulysses and the fast Dublin Swift catamaran
- Pembroke to Rosslare: the quieter crossing for the south and west of Ireland (see ferries from Wales to Ireland)
- Dover to Calais: up to 14 sailings a day on the short Channel crossing
- Dublin to Cherbourg: the overnight link between Ireland and France on the W.B. Yeats (see ferries between Ireland and France)
In 2024 we crossed Holyhead to Dublin on the Dublin Swift ourselves and came back on Stena Line's Stena Estrid. Read how the fast catamaran compares with a conventional Irish Sea ferry.
When does Irish Ferries have the best deals?
The midweek car, caravan and motorhome deals run for most of the year. New short-break fares appear each season, usually with a travel window to the end of the year. Irish Ferries has run Black Friday campaigns in previous years, and the January sale is the moment for next summer's Dublin to Cherbourg cabins. Foot-passenger day trips are cheapest in autumn and early winter.
Why trust our Irish Ferries deals?
- Checked: we check each offer against Irish Ferries' own offers pages and note the date at the top of this page.
- First-hand: we've sailed the Irish Sea with Irish Ferries ourselves, so our tips come from the car deck, not a press release.
- Honest: if there is no code, we say so instead of listing expired ones.
Irish Ferries discount codes: FAQs
Is there an Irish Ferries discount code right now?
Only one, and it's niche: code PREM2627 gives Irish football fans flexible fares on specific Dublin to Holyhead sailings (from €132 per person for a car with four people, free amendments if the match moves). All other savings are fixed fares and midweek offers that apply automatically when you book the right sailing.
What is the cheapest way to take a car to Ireland with Irish Ferries?
The £154 one-way or £228 return fare for a car and driver on Tuesday and Wednesday night sailings. Extra passengers are charged on top.
Can I combine Irish Ferries offers with Tesco Clubcard tokens?
No. Offers can't be combined with each other or with Clubcard tokens. Compare the offer price with the standard fare minus your tokens and pick the cheaper one.
Do I need a passport on Irish Ferries to Ireland?
Yes. Since 28 September 2026 every passenger on Holyhead to Dublin and Pembroke to Rosslare needs a valid passport with a machine-readable zone. Read more.
Does Irish Ferries sail Dover to Calais?
Yes, since 2021, with up to 14 crossings a day. Its short-break fares from £95 return are among the cheapest on the route.
