Looking for a Hurtigruten discount code? You will rarely find one. Hurtigruten works with dated offers on its own website: early-booking discounts, deals for solo travellers and the Northern Lights Promise. A voyage is not cheap, so these offers quickly add up to hundreds of pounds. Below is what is running right now, checked against the Hurtigruten website.
Hurtigruten offers right now
- 15% or more off 2027 fly cruises when you book by 9 November 2026. See the 2027 offer.
- Solo travellers: reduced single supplement when you book by 31 October 2026. See the solo deal.
- Northern Lights Promise: no aurora on a voyage of 11 days or more between 20 September and 31 March? You get a 6 or 7-day Coastal Express voyage free. Read the conditions.
How Hurtigruten discounts work
Discounts are tied to specific travel periods and itineraries, usually 15% and occasionally up to 30%. The quiet months are the cheapest: a voyage to the North Cape, for example, usually costs less between March and May than in high summer. If your dates are flexible, shifting the month saves more than any code.
What you are booking
Hurtigruten is part ferry, part cruise. The Coastal Express sails day and night between Bergen and Kirkenes and calls at dozens of ports, large and small, including Trondheim and Tromsø. The full round trip takes 11 days, one way takes 6 or 7. You can also book a single stretch between two ports, as you would on a ferry.
There are two styles: the Original voyages on the Coastal Express, and the more luxurious, all-inclusive Signature voyages such as the North Cape Line and the Svalbard Line. Some Signature voyages start from Hamburg.

How to use a Hurtigruten promotion code
If you have received a code from a Hurtigruten campaign, tick the box "Do you have a promotion code" in the booking.
The next step is unusual: instead of an input field, you are asked to contact Hurtigruten's service team by phone to redeem the code.
Hurtigruten discount codes: FAQs
Is there a Hurtigruten discount code right now?
No public code. The current savings are dated offers: 15% or more off 2027 fly cruises (book by 9 November 2026) and a reduced single supplement for solo travellers (book by 31 October 2026).
What is the Northern Lights Promise?
If the Northern Lights don't appear on a voyage of 11 days or more between 20 September and 31 March, Hurtigruten gives you a 6 or 7-day Coastal Express voyage free in the following season, in an inside cabin with full board. You must claim it within 28 days of your return.
When is Hurtigruten cheapest?
Outside the summer peak. Spring departures, roughly March to May, and late autumn are usually the cheapest, and the early-booking offers for the following year appear in autumn.
How do I redeem a Hurtigruten promotion code?
Tick "Do you have a promotion code" in the booking. Hurtigruten then asks you to call its service team, who apply the code for you.
