Looking for a Eurostar discount code? Honest answer first: Eurostar almost never publishes one. The codes on voucher sites are nearly always expired or invented. Real Eurostar savings come from three things: the lowest advance fares, the last-minute Snap tickets and the child discount. Below is what works right now, checked against the Eurostar website.
Eurostar offers right now
- London to Paris, Brussels, Lille and Amsterdam from £39 one way in Standard, on selected trains. No code needed. See the £39 fares.
- Eurostar Snap: up to 50% off last-minute tickets. You choose the day and morning or afternoon, Eurostar chooses the train. Book up to 14 days ahead. See how Snap works.
- Kids fares: 30% off peak trains and up to 50% off off-peak for children aged 4 to 11 travelling with an adult. Under 4s go free. See the kids fares.
- Groups of 16 or more get reduced group fares when booked at least 4 months ahead.
Book early: the difference in practice
The simplest way to pay less is to book early. Around six months ahead, fares are at their lowest. We once booked as soon as the new timetable was released, and plenty of cheap tickets were available at that moment. Book further ahead than that and you may find the timetable isn't on sale yet.

Other ways to pay less with Eurostar
- Travel midweek and off-peak. Friday afternoons and Sunday evenings are the most expensive trains of the week. Moving your departure by a few hours can halve the fare.
- Club Eurostar. The free loyalty programme gives points on every trip. Discounted tickets start from 200 points and a free one-way from 1,000 points.
- The newsletter. Eurostar announces its seat sales by email first. If a real code ever appears, this is where it comes from.

If you do receive a genuine code, for example from Eurostar's own newsletter, you enter it in the booking before payment.
