A new website: Ferrygogo.co.uk

A Specific Site for Our British and European Visitors

We’ve been busy separating Ferrygogo.co.uk from Ferrygogo.com to create a more tailored experience for our UK visitors.

Over the years, Ferrygogo has grown significantly, and so has the number of ferry crossings featured on our site. However, not all of these are relevant for our European visitors. For example, we have many routes in the US, Australia, and even some in South America and Asia. Additionally, the site displayed prices in dollars, euros, and British pounds, with distances shown in both kilometres and miles. This meant that every time we conducted research, created maps, or wrote guides, we had to recalculate everything in various currencies and measurements.

Time for a simplification

It's time for a simplification—both for us and our visitors. That's why we've decided to split Ferrygogo.com. We already launched Ferrygogo.de for Germany and Ferrygogo.nl for the Netherlands, and now it's time for Ferrygogo.co.uk. This change makes sense, especially considering the different travel routes and currencies, making the site more accessible and user-friendly.

Focus on Europe's Ferry Crossings

Ferrygogo.co.uk will primarily focus on European routes, such as how to travel from the UK to Norway, Sweden, or Denmark, or closer routes like Ireland, Spain, France, and the Netherlands. You'll also find information on ferries to Mediterranean islands such as Mallorca, Ibiza, Sardinia, Sicily, and the Greek islands.

A tailored site to better serve our visitors

We've tailored the site to better serve our visitors. Now, prices are displayed in British pounds, and routes less relevant to Europe have been moved to Ferrygogo.com. We've incorporated all the key routes into our guides and maps to make planning your ferry journey easier and more specific to your needs.

We’re continuously improving the site, and with the recent relaunch, we’re still working to ensure everything is running smoothly. If you encounter any errors, something isn’t working, or you have a question or feedback, feel free to let us know in the comments below this post.
