The deal in one line

15% off economy single and return fares with a vehicle on Dover to Calais, in both directions, for travel between 1 January and 31 December 2027. Book by 1 February 2027. No code needed.

Irish Ferries has opened 2027 on the Channel with an early booking discount. It covers new economy fares with a car, and motorbikes and trikes count too. You don’t enter anything: the 15% is taken off at step 3 of the booking, so check that it shows there before you pay.

In a nutshell

  • Saving: 15% off the fare
  • Fares: new economy single and return fares with a vehicle, motorbikes and trikes included, both directions
  • Book by: 1 February 2027, and at least 24 hours before you travel
  • Travel: 1 January to 31 December 2027
  • Not included: Short Break, Flexi and Flexi+ fares, ETS charges, extras, pets and Club Class
  • Code: none, and it can’t be combined with other Irish Ferries promotions

Our tip

The discount does not apply to short-break fares. For a weekend or a few days in France, compare with the fixed Irish Ferries short breaks: for a short stay those can work out cheaper than a discounted economy return.

Our verdict

Useful if you already know when you are driving to France next year. DFDS runs a similar 15% early booking offer for 2027 with the same deadline, so price both before you book. Sailing times and the three operators are in our Dover to Calais ferry guide.
