The deal in one line

A return car ferry for £57, for a car and up to 7 passengers, when you book your accommodation on the island through Red Funnel. Travel between 25 October 2026 and 24 March 2027.

This is Red Funnel’s autumn and winter holiday price on the car ferry between Southampton and East Cowes. It only works as a package: the outbound and return crossing have to be booked together with a stay from Red Funnel’s own list of cottages, hotels, B&Bs, guesthouses, holiday parks, apartments and villas. The £57 is applied at checkout.

In a nutshell

  • Price: £57 return for a car and up to 7 passengers
  • Condition: outbound and return ferry booked together with accommodation through Red Funnel
  • Vehicle: cars up to 5.5 m long and 2.7 m high only
  • Travel: 25 October 2026 to 24 March 2027
  • Book: new bookings only, subject to availability; Red Funnel gives no closing date and can withdraw the offer without notice

Our tip

The offer can’t be combined with any other Red Funnel offer, so the electric vehicle code won’t work on top of it. Already booked your stay somewhere else? Then the £57 does not apply and you pay the normal car fare.

Our verdict

A low fixed price for a winter break on the island with a full car, as long as you are happy to pick your accommodation from Red Funnel’s list. More on the crossings and what to do there in our Isle of Wight ferry guide.
