The deal in one line

Up to 40% off return crossings from Hirtshals to Bergen, from €241 per person each way with a car and a cabin, for travel between 1 January and 31 August 2027. Book by 19 November 2026.

After the Kristiansand early bird, Fjord Line has now put its long overnight route to Bergen on sale for 2027 as well. The from-price is per person and per direction for two people travelling together, and it includes one night in a standard inside cabin for two to four people, a car up to 1.95 m high and 5 m long, and the EU environmental surcharge. You only get the discount when you book a return.

In a nutshell

  • Saving: up to 40% on the crossing, depending on the departure
  • Price: from €241 per person each way, two people with a car and an inside cabin; larger vehicles, extra people and better cabins cost more
  • Route: Hirtshals to Bergen, return bookings only
  • Travel: 1 January to 31 August 2027, summer holidays included
  • Book by: 19 November 2026
  • Conditions: dynamic prices, first come first served, subject to availability

Our tip

Not set on Bergen? The Kristiansand early bird has the same deadline and a much lower from-price, but it only runs until 31 May 2027 and the crossing is short, so there is no cabin in the price.

Our verdict

The notable part is that July and August are included, which early booking deals often leave out. For the drive to Hirtshals from the UK, see our guide to ferries from Denmark to Norway.
