The crossing is short, but there is normally enough time to walk around, get food or drinks, use the toilets and spend a few minutes outside. Depending on the ship, families may also find a children’s play area.
During our crossings, the opportunity to leave the car was one of the ferry’s main advantages over LeShuttle. It provides a useful break before continuing a longer road journey through France or beyond.
