Our tip
Go midweek: Tuesday to Thursday is £12 cheaper per adult. Take the 07:00 sailing and the 19:30 back and you have a good seven hours in Belfast, enough for Titanic Belfast and the city centre. Day trips are non-refundable.
Our verdict
A cheap and easy day out from south-west Scotland. Going the other way? Stena also runs a coach day trip from Belfast to Glasgow.
