A short break in the Netherlands doesn’t have to mean an airport. Harwich – Hook of Holland is one of the easiest ferry crossings from the UK: you board in Essex, and you step off within easy reach of Rotterdam, The Hague and Amsterdam. With this Stena Line code, a return trip of a few days is now 20% cheaper.
We like this one because it’s a simple discount. It isn’t a complicated package. You book your normal return crossing, add the code, and the price drops. On foot, with the car, by day or overnight.

How to use the code
- Start a booking for Harwich → Hook of Holland and choose a return trip.
- Pick dates with no more than four nights in the Netherlands.
- Enter the code in the ‘Offer Code’ box at the very first step. If you add it later, you’ll only see the standard fares.
- Choose Economy, Flexi or Premium. The 20% is taken off the eligible fare.
Day or night crossing?
The code works on both, and you can even mix them. That’s handy: sail out overnight and wake up in the Netherlands with a full first day ahead of you, then come back on a day sailing and arrive home in the evening.

- Drivers: take your own car, pack what you like, and use a few days for a short road trip through the Netherlands or into Belgium.
- Not for: longer holidays. Stay more than four nights and the discount no longer applies.

Our tip
Not sure about your dates yet? Compare the Economy and Flexi fares with the discount applied. The difference is often smaller than you’d expect, and a Flexi ticket gives you more room if your plans change. Check the fare conditions when you book.
Our verdict
A good, no-nonsense deal. Twenty per cent off a route that is already one of the easiest ways from the UK to the Netherlands, for foot passengers and drivers alike, and valid all through the winter until the end of March.
