Checked: 2 October 2026
Irish Ferries’ W.B. Yeats sails overnight from Dublin to Cherbourg in around 18 hours, so a cabin is not a luxury but part of the trip. This fare bundles car, two people and the cabin in one price. It is priced in euros because it is sold from the Irish side, but it is just as bookable from the UK.
In a nutshell
- Price: from €465 return on Tuesday and Wednesday, from €495 on other days
- Included: a car, two people and an inside cabin, both ways
- Trip length: up to 6 nights in France
- Dates: travel between 15 September and 30 November 2026
- Conditions: subject to availability, not combinable with other offers
Our tip
Irish Ferries also runs a one-off wine-tasting mini-cruise on 15 October from €399 for a car, two people and a cabin, if you fancy the crossing itself as the holiday. For 2027 sailings you can hold a booking with a €300 deposit from 2 February.
Our verdict
For anyone in Ireland, or driving via Ireland, this skips the whole UK landbridge. Compare it with the Rosslare sailings in our guide to ferries between Ireland and France.
