November and the first half of December are a lovely time to cross to the Netherlands. The Christmas markets open, the cities light up, and you can come home with a car boot full of Dutch cheese, stroopwafels and Christmas presents. Stena Line has just launched a new offer code for exactly that window: 15% off your crossing between Harwich and the Hook of Holland.

Stena Line discount

What makes this code useful is how broad it is. It isn’t limited to short breaks or to one type of ticket. It works on every Economy, Flexi and Premium fare, by car or on foot, by day or overnight, as long as you book in time and travel before 16 December.

In a nutshell

  • Discount: 15% off the fare
  • Route: Harwich ↔ Hook of Holland only
  • Who: drivers (motorist fares) and foot passengers
  • Sailings: day and night
  • Fares: Economy, Flexi and Premium, new bookings only
  • Book: 16 October – 2 November 2026
  • Travel: 2 November – 16 December 2026

How to use the code

  1. Click the button above to reveal the code and open Stena Line’s North Sea Autumn Flash Sale page.
  2. Choose your route and travel dates between 2 November and 16 December 2026.
  3. Enter the code in the ‘Offer code’ box at the very first step, before you search. If you add it later, you’ll only see the standard fares.

  5. Make sure you complete the booking by 2 November 2026.

15% or 20%: which Stena code should you use?

Stena Line codes can’t be combined, so it’s worth picking the right one. On this route there is also our 20% short-stay code. Here’s how we’d choose:

  • Return trip of up to 4 nights? Use the 20% short-stay code. It gives you the bigger discount.
  • Staying 5 nights or longer? The short-stay code no longer applies, so this 15% code is the one to use.
  • Travelling one way? The short-stay code only works on returns. This 15% code covers all fares on the route.
  • Not sure? Run the same search twice, once with each code, and book the cheaper result.

Who is this deal for?

  • Christmas shoppers: drive over, visit the Christmas markets in Rotterdam, Delft, Utrecht or across the border in Germany and Belgium, and bring your shopping home in the car.
  • Families visiting relatives in the Netherlands or Germany ahead of the holidays, for a week or longer.
  • Foot passengers: the Hook of Holland has a direct rail connection to Rotterdam and The Hague, so you don’t need a car at all.
  • Not for: trips after 16 December. Christmas week itself falls outside the travel window.

The small print

  • Only valid on new bookings on Harwich – Hook of Holland.
  • The 15% comes off the base fare only: cabins, meals, the Stena Plus Lounge, pet travel and fees are not discounted.
  • Stena MORE members need to be logged in when they book and add the code to get the discount.
  • Book by 2 November 2026, for travel between 2 November and 16 December 2026.
  • Subject to availability, so busy sailings may sell out at the discounted fare.
  • It can’t be combined with any other offer or discount, including Tesco Clubcard tokens.
  • You can earn and redeem extra Stena MORE points on these bookings.
  • Booking by phone adds a £10 service fee. Book online to avoid it.
  • Stena Line’s standard terms and conditions apply.

Our tip

Sail out overnight. You board in Harwich in the evening, sleep in your cabin and drive off in the Hook of Holland in the morning, with a full day ahead of you for the Christmas markets. We did this crossing ourselves: read our Harwich to Hook of Holland overnight review.

Our verdict

A welcome low-season code. Fifteen per cent off every fare on one of the easiest routes from the UK to the Netherlands, for drivers and foot passengers alike. For short returns the 20% code is still the better choice, but for longer stays, one-way trips and pre-Christmas visits this is the code to use. Just remember to book before 2 November.
