The fare is a Super Saver price based on two adults and a standard car. It is meant for a short trip: you need to book more than three days ahead and stay no longer than five days. From Poole the fast ferry takes about three hours, from Portsmouth the conventional ferry Islander sails up to five times a week.
In a nutshell
- Price: from £65 per person each way, two adults with a standard car
- Routes: Poole to Guernsey and Portsmouth to Guernsey
- Travel: until 31 October 2026
- Conditions: book more than three days ahead, trips of up to 5 days, subject to availability
- Hotel breaks: selected Guernsey hotels give 3 nights for the price of 2, 4 for 3 or 6 for 4, and one resort takes 20% off stays of five nights or more. Ferry travel and breakfast are included.
Our tip
Guernsey sailings are run by Brittany Ferries, but the booking still goes through the Condor Ferries website. Do not be surprised when you land there: it is the same company.
Our verdict
A fair price for a few days on the island with your own car, and the free-night hotel deals make a longer weekend cheaper. Routes, ships and sailing times are in our ferry to Guernsey guide.
