The Afternoon Flyer is a fixed-price ticket for a late start. The prices below apply from 1 October to 31 December 2026.
In a nutshell
- Adult: £22.20 on Portsmouth to Fishbourne and Lymington to Yarmouth, £23.20 on the FastCat from Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde
- Child (5 to 15): £11.10
- Senior (60+): £16.90, or £17.90 to Ryde
- Family: £54, or £55 to Ryde
- Condition: outward after midday, return the same day
Our tip
In the school holidays the Kids Go Free deal beats the family ticket. Outside them, the Afternoon Flyer is the cheapest way over for an afternoon and evening.
Our verdict
Good for a late lunch or an evening on the island. If you want a full day, a normal day return gives you more hours for a few pounds extra.
