In a nutshell

  • Saving: up to 25% on selected dates and sailings
  • Price: from £177 return for a car and driver
  • Trip length: up to 28 hours away
  • Routes: Cairnryan – Belfast, Liverpool – Belfast, Holyhead – Dublin and Fishguard – Rosslare, in both directions

Our tip

28 hours is enough for a proper overnight city break: sail out in the morning, stay one night and come back the next day. On Liverpool – Belfast, an overnight sailing one way saves you a hotel night.

Good to know: since 28 September 2026, every passenger on Holyhead – Dublin and Fishguard – Rosslare needs a valid passport. Belfast sailings to Cairnryan and Liverpool keep their current ID rules. Read what changed.

Our verdict

A handy discount for a quick trip across the Irish Sea with the car. Compare the routes in our guide to ferries from the UK to Ireland.
