A unique ferry-cruise combination along the Norwegian coast
Hurtigruten operates as a combination of a ferry and a cruise along the Norwegian coast. The ship sails day and night, stopping at many places, including small and large ports. Here, you can take short or longer stops (such as in Trondheim, Tromsø, Kirkenes, and Bergen), where you can also book excursions.
When booking a Hurtigruten journey, you can choose between the Original Voyages and the luxurious Signature Voyages, which offer a premium all-inclusive experience. Within these options, you can select a specific route. One of the most popular choices is the classic Coastal Express route between Bergen and Kirkenes, which takes 11 days round-trip or 6 days one way. Alternatively, you can sail on the Svalbard Line or the North Cape Line.
You can also decide whether to book a round trip or a one-way journey and select your departure and arrival port. Some journeys even start from cities like Oslo or Hamburg. With so many available options, Hurtigruten offers great flexibility for travellers.
How do Hurtigruten discounts work?
